we were all saying apparently so long "harry potter." the avengers have now crushed you. seriously. this super hero team took in 200.3 million dollars at north american theaters over the weekend according to walt disney studios who released the film and made it number one for the weekend and number one biggest opening weekend in hollywood history and smashed a previous record last summer hit by "harry potter and deathly hallows part 2." it is about ironman, thor, black widow and analysts estimate it's on track to take in over $1 billion worldwide. what made this so successful in the first weekend out, it looks like a lot of things. but significantly it's a 3d film and it's jam packed with robert downey jr. and scar let scarlett johansson and more than half of the people who saw the movie shelled out the extra money to watch it in 3d. this is a huge record and a powerful start to hollywood summer movie season and i have to say i was kidding on friday that i think scarlett johansson in a cat suit accounted for 16 million but i'm sticking to that. i think it did! >> i have to agree wit
